PRIDE® HELPS THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE LIVE THEIR LIVES TO THE FULLEST BY CREATING THE BEST PERSONAL MOBILITY PRODUCTS IN THE WORLD. PRIDE’S COMMITMENT TO SHOW COMPASSION,
RESPECT, AND APPRECIATION FOR OTHERS IS DEMONSTRATED BY GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
IN SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS.
Pride is especially honoured to contribute locally to events and organisations, including the Victorian Electric Wheelchair Sports Association (VEWSA), Very Special Kids, and the Fight Cancer Foundation. Many Pride employees show their support for these worthy causes not only through event participation, but by contributing to the organisation’s overall efforts.
VEWSA is a community based, non-profit association aiming to ensure that all Victorians with disabilities who use electric wheelchairs have the opportunity to participate in sport. The Pride Warriors (pictured below) compete in the Victorian Powerchair Premier League (VPPL) – a competition run by VEWSA – that brings together some of Victoria’s best power chair athletes in a fun and supportive environment.
Pride also expands its community outreach program to include social initiatives. We work with the Australian Police Football Association, Australian Paramedic, and YouthWise – an organisation dedicated to helping young Australians indirectly or directly affected by substance
abuse and issues relating to mental health.
PRIDE FIRMLY BELIEVES THE GREATEST GIFT A COMPANY CAN GIVE TO ITS COMMUNITY IS TO HAVE AN ACTIVE ROLE IN MAINTAINING A HIGH QUALITY OF LIFE FOR EVERYONE WHO LIVES THERE.
