How to disassemble your Pride Mobility GoGo Travel Scooter.
Begin by folding down the seat, pushing it forward from the back, and then lifting it off the seat post. Safely set the seat aside.
Next, detach the front basket by unclipping it from the tiller, and set aside.
The battery pack, located beneath the seat, can be removed by grasping the handle and lifting it to disconnect. Please note that the battery unit may have some initial tension due to the Velcro on the bottom. Store the battery separately.
Loosen the knob at the base of the tiller, fold it down to the deck, and then re-tighten the knob to secure the tiller in its folded position.
Between the front wheels and in front of the tiller, you'll find a locking mechanism. Press and twist it to keep the tiller straight during transport; this ensures that the wheel remains in a locked position.
To disconnect the rear wheel assembly from the deck, front wheels, and tiller, locate the handle behind the seat post. Lift it with one hand to separate the components.
Now, you can move each piece individually, utilising their handles for easy transport and store in your car boot or wherever you plan to store your scooter.
How to reassemble your Pride Mobility GoGo Travel Scooter.
Align the rear wheel assembly with the front part of the unit. There is a bar running between the tyres on the smaller, rear wheel assembly. On the rear end of the front section connect the two upside-down U-shaped fasteners to the bar until you hear a click. This step also activates the scooter's power and brakes.
Adjust the tiller's height to your preference by loosening and then tightening the knob. Ensure the teeth are aligned or it could create some unwanted movement.
Press and turn the wheel lock mechanism, positioned in front of the tiller, to enable steering for your scooter.
Place the battery pack in front of the seat post on the scooter's base.
Insert the seat into the seat post and lift the seat back up.
Secure the basket onto the front tiller mount until it clicks into place.
