Lift Chair Positions

Updated: Sep 27, 2023

June 29, 2023

Pride Mobility's lift chairs are known for their craftsmanship and innovative features to help you move independently. Whether you desire the perfect reclining angle for unaided relaxation, the ideal upright position for reading or the assistance of a gentle lift to aid in standing, our lift chair positions cater to your unique preferences.

Here are some key lift chair positions to help you make informed decisions when choosing the right chair for you.

Lifted, Seated & Slight Recline

These three positions are available on all Pride lift chairs. The lifted position helps you to stand up from your chair or comfortably sit down into your chair without any hassle. The seated position offers you the benefit of maintaining an upright sitting posture. And finally the slight recline position allows for a gentle recline of approximately 45 degrees, reducing strain on the back and enhancing overall comfort. We recommend this position for leisurely activities like reading, watching TV or simply unwinding after a long day.

Full recline

The full recline position available on Pride’s lift chairs is specifically designed to offer you a comfortable napping experience. It promotes proper body alignment and reduces pressure on your spine, relieving any potential discomfort. Whether you need a quick power nap or a longer period of relaxation, the full recline position ensures a supportive and cosy environment, allowing you to drift off into a peaceful slumber.

Experience the versatility and comfort that our lift chairs provide, enhancing your daily living and relaxation. If you need help in choosing the right model for you, give us a call and we’ll be happy to help you out.
